I use a Dell laptop with Windows 7. I want to find Dell service tag in Windows. My laptop is old and worn out. I am not able to see the serial number on the sticker behind.

You can use Command processor in Windows. Same steps can be followed for any Dell laptop.

Step 1: Open Command Prompt window by typing “cmd” in the Run command.

Step 2: Type the code

wmic bios get serialnumber

Step 3: The Serial number will be displayed as given in the picture.
