I downloaded the free ESXi 5.5 web client. When I launch the app after installing it, it says all the new features are on the vSphere web client. I’m confused! Where is the web client?
It’s not a big problem that you are facing. Just a small confusion that you have. First, there is no web client for ESXi; the web client can only be used if you have a vCenter server. Now, if you only have ESXi host, and you still need access to the advanced features, you can purchase a VMware workstation license and manage your host from there.
