Hi all,

Where can I possibly find taskbar registry settings?

I want to know all the ability and use of registry settings.

I just don’t know the correct location of the setting.

I hope you can find some ways to let me know.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Hi,

You can find taskbar registry here

1. Use for small icons navigate to

[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMocrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced]

“TaskbarSmallIcons”=dword: 00000001

2. Use to disable icon grouping

[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerAdvanced]

“TaskbarGlomming”

For more information you can go to mombu.com click the Microsoft icon then choose windows XP configuration management category and type windows XP taskbar settings via registry pro you will results click on that link download  and install.

Hope these shall help you.

Dear Rebecca,

For opening registry editor do the following task-

  • Type 'regedit' in RUN and press Enter. There will be "Registry Editor".

You will get As like as –

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARETeklogixTaskbar]

ShowActiveApp"=dword:<0|1>     0|1 = hide|show the active app in the taskbar

To know all the ability and use of registry settings please visit here.

There will be screen shots and stepwise analysis on how you can edit the registry settings as well.
