Where can I find Movies maker new version?

I'm trying to edit some videos and JPEG images so I could make them into a h. 264 movie file using the old version of Windows Movie Maker.  I'm encountering some errors during transition and would not push through. Do I have to install Windows Media Codecs or do I have to install Movies maker new version?

My PC is on Windows XP 32 bit Sp 2.

Hello Altha,

Windows Movie Maker 2.1 is the latest version released by Microsoft for Windows XP users. The versions after that do not support XP. However, Microsoft by default installs the Movie maker 2.1 when you installed the service pack 2. Hence, try installing Microsoft Codecs from the Microsoft official website and if it does not work then reinstall Movie Maker in your PC again to see if the problem persists.

Cheers.
