I have here a Lenovo laptop and its OS is Windows 7. My antivirus for now is an old version of free AVG. I have lots of important files in my laptop so I was considering downloading a new one, yet my internet speed was quite slow. So any site for free Avg internet security 2013 compressed download?

If you really want to download the free AVG version, I suggest installing a download manager. It will not only save you time re-downloading a huge file because of connection error, it will also give you management of files being downloaded. In other terms, you could pause and continue your download anytime you want.
But in my opinion, instead of downloading AVG for your virus protection, why not use Microsoft Security Essentials? Its a virus scanner, threat and real time protection, and the best part of it is it's free and not a third party software.
