Here are some tips on getting a maximum battery life for your Lenovo. You should condition your battery, that means fully discharging and then fully charging it every three or four weeks. If you fail to do this, it will significantly shorten your battery's life. If your laptop will not be used for a month or so, I recommend to remove the battery from your laptop and store it in a cool dry place. A battery will gradually lose its power if unused for a long time. Therefore it is necessary to recharge it after a storage period.
