Whenever I tried to run GMod, I faced an error message which says,

Engine Error

You need to buy Garry's Mod on Stream to be able to play it

At this point the process gets closed automatically. The fact is that, I purchased GMod in 2007.

And since that moment I have never had such a critical problem until today.

I can’t guess what the cause is. Can you?

Garry's MOD is only available on steam. Although you have bought the game to run and play the game from Steam you need Garry's MOD. To buy this MOD on steam visit the following site http://store.steampowered.com/app/4000/

You might have downloaded the MOD from some illegal website so please visit the above link and buy the required MOD.
