There is a problem with your windows. Try to run scan using your command prompt and paste it there “sfc /scannow” without the double quotes, Wait the process until it will finish. Check the installation again and see if it solves the problem. If still not solve, try to install service pack of windows that you are using or install VC runtime which you can found on C++ Express 2008, you can download it here http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/eng/products/visual-studio-express-products.

If still not work, try to check if the program that you want to install is compatible with the operating system that you are using and make sure that you use the latest version of the software you want to install.

The better solution for this is to download another version of Nitro PDF Reader which is compatible to your 64 bit Windows Home Premium. There are softwares that cannot be installed into a 64 bit Operating System. You can search in google.com or ask.com for different version of your Nitro PDF Reader. I can also recommend you another PDF reader which can be installed into different versions of Operating System. This software is called Adobe reader and this is what I am using right now.
