I have been using Whatsapp on my Samsung S3 for a long time that, when I recently got a Nexus 7 Tablet, I wanted to install the same App, I have tried installing the same Application I have on my Smartphone but its not working, it gets stuck on the verification screen like forever, what could be the problem? How can I get this app running on my Tablet?

The steps to install Whatsapp on the Google Nexus 7 are as follows:
1) Download the Whatstsapp apk file for Nexus 7 free of cost
2) Install the apk file in the Nexus 7 following the installation wizard
3) After installation, run Whatsapp application
4) Whatsapp will ask the user for the mobile number, insert the number and click 'Next' button
5) The application will call on the number provided by the user
6) A code will be provided to the user, enter in the application
7) The authentication process is completed and the user can user Whatsapp in the device
