Nikki was an aspiring Electrician. She wanted to study Electronics Technology. When she took her entrance exam, there was a question that she wanted to know but it's beyond her knowledge.Even though Nikki didn't get the perfect score, she still managed to pass the exam. What is a motherboard?

The  motherboard vary considerably in terms of types of components that support.each motherboard supports one type of processor and a short list of types of memory,it should provide clear guidance on component compatibilities.The motherboard is the flat,rectangular piece of circuit board in the computer case to which everything seems to connect to for one reason or another.The motherboard also has slots or ports for the attachment  of various peripherals or support system,hardware,The most important thing to remember about the motherboard is that is printed circuit board the provides all the connection.

The motherboard is the main and logic control board of the computer.All the components and chipsets are plugged into it, to relay and transfer all the information taking place and sharing between them.It has simple software prefixed installed as BIOS(Basic Input/Output System)is run when the circuit is switched on.The other vital components like CPU,Memory Card,Hard Drive,Sound Card,etc with various output ports and peripherals are attached into it.
