Windows Operating System has got its editions namely, Windows 1, Windows 2, Windows 3, Windows XP, Windows NT 4, Windows ME, Windows Server, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. Each edition has got its versions accordingly. Users like regular customers mainly use Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8 and 10.

To find out the version type on the computer, one can do it always by right clicking on “MY Computer” or “Computer” visible on the Start Menu. Go through the properties, and it gives all the information and the edition and its version which happens in the case of Windows 7, 8 and 10. Windows Vista has six editions: Windows Vista Starter, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, and Windows Vista Ultimate. Windows 7 has six editions: Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home Basic, Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise, and Windows 7 Ultimate.
