This is true. Twitter’s CFO or Chief Financial Officer Anthony Noto accidentally sent a public tweet which is actually intended to be a private message but to whom, I guess it is intended for a fellow Twitter executive. The tweet reads in quotes “I still think we should buy them. He is on your schedule for Dec 15 or 16—we will need to sell him. I have a plan”.

The accidental tweet was deleted immediately but because Noto has a savvy 8,700 followers, they immediately screen-grabbed the post. It is still unclear as to which company Noto was referring to as a possible Twitter acquisition. The last tweet favorited by Noto was the tweet made by Evan Spiegel, Snapchat CEO, which, according to reports, turned down the cash offer made by Facebook in 2013 worth $3 billion.
