Some updates of softwares do not seem to work with Windows 64 bit. Is there a list of programs whose updates do not work on Windows 64 bit?
I’m not sure if this is possible thinking that the installed software is compatible with Windows 64-bit and the problem only started right after upgrading or updating the program to the latest version.
Before installing anything on a computer that runs with Windows 64-bit, of course, you need to check if the program works and supports Windows 64-bit or else it will simply not work.
If a program is already installed and running on Windows 64-bit, I don’t see any problem why it will not work after upgrading it.
If the program, indeed, became unstable after the upgrade, maybe the process just didn’t go well due to some encountered errors maybe from the system.
If this is the case, you just need to uninstall the older version of the program, and then download and install the latest version. This is how it is usually done if an application failed to work after updating it.
