I want to know about folder redirection server 2012. I have 15 servers. All the servers have Windows Server 2012 installed. There is a feature called Folder Redirection of which I want to know about. Please help.
Recently Windows made changes in folder redirection feature. It was available in older versions also. Now it has been enhanced to the next level.
Usage
• It redirects folders like Links, Music, Downloads, Searches, Videos and much more.
• It links to the user folders from the C:Users location directly on the first screen of explorer.
• It also provides shortcuts from the start menu.
Advantage
• The user can access data from various computers.
• The data access is possible in LAN networks also.
• The shared folders become more efficient.
• Group policies can be made to make the access to data more secured.
