Lately Firefox has been taking a significant amount of time to load, and is quite unresponsive at times. Would any of the Firefox performance tuning tools be helpful in speeding up the browser?Â
I have recently updated versions but I don't see why this would be a problem.

Clear history.

Clear the cache to fix the cache, open the Options dialog, click the Advanced tab, Network then hit Clear button.

Disable hardware acceleration, uncheck hardware acceleration setting just like on the picture below:
