What is that basically? How does Microsoft rebrands Universal apps work? Can it run into any Windows platforms? What are the differences between Windows apps and Windows desktop applications? Tell me, what are the configurations needed for this app? Thank You

Microsoft Rebrands Universal apps (also called as Windows Runtime-based apps) are simply the executable programs that are compatible with the Windows desktop. They are Win32 based & can run on most of the Windows platforms, depending on the individual app compatibility as well.
