What is the problem with Acer TravelMate touch pad?

The Acer TravelMate is a line of computer notebooks designed and manufactured by Acer. With the different lines of computer notebooks that Acer has released, the TravelMate line is selected as a business and professional computer designed to endure every day activities. The name TravelMate was originally used by Texas Instruments where their mobile computing division was sold to Acer in 1997.

The operating system bundled with the Acer TravelMate line includes Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. Depending on the computer model, the standard features of Acer TravelMate may include a wireless Ethernet adapter, an Ethernet adapter, and one or more PC card slot. They may also include an optical drive, USB 2.0 ports, and one VGA port.

More current versions of the Acer TravelMate line feature processors with dual core together with a 5-in-1 card reader, a lot of memory, and a large hard drive. Also, these recent versions of Acer TravelMate come with better graphics accelerators and more graphics connectivity such as S-Video. In case you have a problem with the touch pad, make sure you installed the correct driver for it because sometimes notebooks are bundled with different touch pad drivers where some are not compatible.

If your Acer TravelMate notebook is bundled with several touch pad drivers and the touch pad is not working properly, try installing the other drivers to see which one works better.
