The Panasonic's new SD cards are three high capacity SD card that have been made with Pro High Speed, High Speed and miniSD ranges capabilities. The first one is a flagship 2GB card that falls into the Pro High Speed range. This one has got a data transfer rate that goes up to 20 MB/s and it is expected to be available in stores somewhere in August with a price of about US$299.
Another High Speed range SD card is the 1GB SD that is expected to be in stores in August too, and its expected price range is about US$119. For those mobile phones that have got built-in cameras, there is a 512MB miniSD card that can be able to store music as well as images its price is about US$59.

Panasonic has released a new range of SD cards that will surely give its users high dependability and performance. The new range includes gold, silver, blue, and micro SD cards. Each of these features high image quality functions. Here is the breakdown of each type’s available capacity:

- Silver – is available from 2 GB to 16 GB.

The new GH1 and LUMIX TZ7 including the new SD-enabled HD camcorders are all equipped with AVCHD. This is the latest HD recording format that displays a truly excellent picture quality.
The gold SD card is the class 10 SD card. It has a 22 MB/s maximum transfer speed that is combined with a smart controller.
