Hi guys, I want to know what operating system does new Nokia X series phones has. And if it is new android phones that support its own created android platform then why not it supports most of the apps like whatsapp and there are many games that cannot be played on Nokia android smart phones in Nokia X series.

Nokia is a nice smartphone company providing many awesome features with its smartphones. It is mostly dependent on Microsoft’s Windows OS for mobile, so it doesn’t support Android.
But the good news is, Nokia X series phones have got a support for Android apps alongside Windows. It is a great news to everyone, but as it isn’t based on Android, it is unable to run some apps. Like you said, you are unable to run WhatsApp. These phones are not for heavy usage of Android apps. If you’re a freak to Android, you should get any other phones except Nokia. I recommend Samsung smartphones with fully functional Android OS installed.
