Hi,

New Technology Files System started on Windows NT it is data format before you install it in your Operating System. This file system is being used by Windows XP,7,Vista and NT. etc.  This file system doesn't have a bootable like the old windows 98 and 95. The boot of this device is already in the installer of the Operating System. Unlike on the other window you have to insert boot disk first then install the OS. Fat32 are in the old microsoft OS. The Windows 95 and 98. So start converting your FAT32 to NTFS now. There are many File system converting available on the internet, you can choose it for free.  I hope everything is clear for you,

Thanks.

Both NTFS and FAT32 are both files systems that you can use for storage of your files on your storage drives on your computer system. When setting up your hard drives, during partitioning or formatting, you are often which file system you will want to use.

There are usually some factors that distinguish the two, hence making one of them better compared to the other. Some of the factors are follows:

  • NTFS is always thought to be more secure that FAT32 hence most people will go for it for the safety of their data.
  • Though NTFS is better, some of its maintenance tools have been said to be so bogus compared to FAT32.

Some of the things that you need to put in mind when selecting the file system are the following:

  • The ability to recover lost data easily.
  • In case the file system structure supports manual check and repair in case it has problems.
  • In the files system can be scanned for Malware and allow them to be cleaned with ease.
