Hello,

What is the latest software detector for a bios virus? This is a very serious problem when it comes to bios attacked by unknown viruses and for us to protect the computer bios security we have to do something. I am not good enough with both hardware and software but we all need to know about this.

Waiting for your support.

Hello,

I recommend Avira Free Antivirus. It will provide you with all features you need. Besides regular desktop scan for viruses, it will clean your boot sectors so if there was any viruses located in your boot sector, they will be cleaned. Avira is very reliable and of course it's free.

Regards.

Hello,

Although getting a virus on BIOS is very rare because it is not related to your hard disk, but if infected it is very difficult to get rid of. Therefore I prefer you to install Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 which is a paid one but keeps you secure over online threats and incoming viruses and monitors your system. Besides this you can also use trusted anti viruses like AVG antivirus 2013 free edition which keeps your system completely virus free and it get updates automatically almost every day.

Thanks.

Halo Jenniferf Baker

The Bios ( Basic Input Output System) information stored in flash memory on the motherboard, not on the hard drive. These viruses are really rare ! They fully separate from your hard disk ! A normal virus scan software have no ability to catch a BIOS virus ! If you format your hard disk fully and reinstall your operating system, the virus will remain unchanged !

As a normal virus scanning software has no ability to catch these viruses, you will not able to understand that your PC has attacked by BIOS virus ! When BIOS virus will attack your PC, they will create a message that will show your PC to you that your computer has attacked by virus. Removing a BIOS virus, it's involved in a multi step process. If you want to remove Bios from your PC, then be ready to back up your data, to reinstall your operating system, and you have to do more thing…… I am giving you two systems to remove Bios from your computer.

SYSTEM 1 > https://www.techwalla.com/articles/removing-bios-virus

And

SYSTEM 2 > How to Remove a Virus from The BIOS

Make a choice which system do you want to apply !
