The newest release version of the online file storage entails the following:
1. Livedrive: Is an online backup service that lets you access your files wherever you are, the addition typical features is that previous version of file s are saved that means the user can still access older copies and edit it. The only problem with Live-drive is when for instance; we have two users who wants to edit the same file at the same time. This means that the file will be updated on the online drive but if the other person update his edit without special precautions, the file gets lost.
2. Humyo: locking files is necessary especially when you want to share the same file with different people, Humyo provides an interface whereby we only have one user at a time editing the file. Subsequently until access to that file won't be allowed until the first user has finished editing.
3. Sugarsync: Is a service that can set up Read- Only access to certain users thus not letting other people to edit your files, a URL is generated to permit access to your shared files. The only different that an Email is sent to users whom they receive a link to enable access the file although the owner can disclose the link public.
