I'm thinking to develop a program using any sports for a betting business project.
Example in basketball, you bet the on Team A to win against Team B for a bet times two that of you wager.
But I'm choosing any sports that you think is highly profitable, any suggestions?

The first thing that comes to anyone's mind when they hear sports betting is Horse racing.
It is one of the oldest forms of sports betting that is highly acclaimed and even exists today at a fairly large scale in certain parts of the world. You could put your time and resource into making a software for horse race betting. It would certainly be profitable as there is demand for that system. Other sports betting is not that common if you compare it.

Simple betting like competitions where either A or B wins might work, but I think you should try something more complicated, such as car racing, bike racing or horse racing, which are more unpredictable and therefore more attractive.
