There are many widget timers for Samsung which can give you the time, work as a stopwatch, and also as a countdown timer.
You can install a Samsung widget timer for your Samsung Galaxy phone from a normal Google Play store, or you can get it from the Samsung store in your phone.
Most of the widget timers are free, including the Samsung widget timer.
