What is the function of task manager in the windows operating system?
I know some of the functions but I am sure thatÂ
I don't know all of them.
I heard that it can perform several of functions.
Please tell about its functions and capability.
Hi John Parker Task manager in the name it suggests that it is the head of all tasks in managing in simple words it can be described as managing the tasks.
Task manager will present or available in any operating system and it can be seen by using ctrl+alt+delete or elsectrl+shift+esc at once if you press then all the tasks that are running are displayed.
The tasks that are running even background are also shown in the task manager and when the system struck's we use the task manager to restore back to old state by ending the task.
It also contains CPU usage you are using by accessing the tasks in your system.

WIndows taks manager can do a lot of functionsÂ
1. In the default when you open the task manager in applications tab you can see all the current apps thart are running , You can kill them and also you can open new tasks.
2.In the process tab you can see all the processes that are running , and how much CPU , Memory and all they use , You can Kill ,or whole tree or Change the priority or even set the processor core settings.
3.In the services tab you can see the services run by the or used by the processes.
4.In performance tab you can see the status of the CPU , memory used , pagefile , kernel info etc and You can get more advanced in the Resource monitor.
Ah, so there are the functions of the Task Manager, now I know how to use it!
Some applications hang sometimes and I think it's important to really have the Task Manager.
