I am really confused on what does “Login as the Administrator” means. Can anyone please explain this to me? And also, what does “Send Info” means in MS Word and MS Excel files? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

You will have the right under Windows to do anything without any restrictions, including defining the rights/privileges of a guest user if you log in as Administrator. If you log in as a guest user, the rights/privileges might be limited by administrator therefore some files /folders /documents could not be downloaded/ deleted/ installed without administrator’s permission or password is needed to do the above.

Sometimes MSExcel or MSWord documents might get crushed with other files on the computer.

You can report the errors to Microsoft so that they may update their database for error.

The administrator account is the one that has full privileges that you can use to carry out about all actions on your computer, and it seems that you need to perform an action that requires you to have administrative privileges on the computer that you are logged on but then you do not have them.

Do the following:

  • On your computer, click on start and then choose point on the shut down option.
  • Other option will be displayed such as hibernate, sleep, but you should choose 'switch user' option.
  • The computer will switch accounts and bring the log in screen where you will need to log in with the administrator account that has all privileges so that you can proceed with the action that you needed to perform.
