I'm really annoyed with Opera. Whenever I try to open it, my PC restarts. I can't figure out what's causing the problem. I have tried to reinstall it but I'm still facing the same problem. Few days ago, my PC restarted when I clicked on it while it was on the taskbar. Please help me to find a solution this problem.

I’m not sure why this is happening. I am using Opera for a very long time until now and that problem never happened to me even once. If Opera makes your computer to restart, try opening other browser if you have any like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. If the issue is specific to Opera browser only, check if you are using the latest version or an old version.

If you haven’t updated yet, it is probably caused by the updates on your operating system. If this is the case, you need to install the latest version. Visit Opera 27.0.1689.76 Download to get the latest release. It works on Windows 2000 32-bit only, 32-bit and 64-bit Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

Also, don’t install any plug-in on Opera because it might be the reason why your computer restarts. In case the problem continues even after updating to the latest version, stop using Opera. There is maybe a slight problem on your computer that encounters an error when Opera is started and thus restarting the machine.

Use alternative browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Maxthon, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and others.
