What to do when my PC doesn’t turn on?

I'm having hard time with my desktop PC. I'm unable to turn it on. When I press on the power button, nothing happens but the green light on the front part of the CPU glows. Only the green light glows after pressing the power button but the red doesn't. What should I do to fix this? Have I lost my hard drive?

First you need to find the on button and it can be looks like as square or oblong.
 

 
Then you need to push the button. Some computers have light up when the computer will getting start.
You need to hold the button for some times.
Then you need to check the following things 
If you are using the laptops. The battery  of the laptops might be flat. So you need to plug in the charger.
Suppose you have PC, Make sure that your PC connection is perfectly connected.
Then you need to login. If you have only your user account. You will get to start straight to the desktop.
This is the way to turn on the computer system.
