DD on Starcraft it an abbreviation or jargon. Well you see DD means: don't die it a short and good advice on that game.

The acronym “DD” stands for “Don’t die”. You can usually see this in most of online real-time strategy games like Star craft. In Final Fantasy XI, “DD” means “Damage-Dealer”. If your character has the ability to cast different spells, DD could also mean “Direct Damage” when casting offensive spells on the enemy.
This is almost similar to “DOT” or Damage Over Time. Actually, you could expect a different meaning with the letters “DD” on different games because of the different terminology used on the game.
