Hello,
An e book is an electronic version of the printed or physical book can be called as e book. This e book has several models. Most basic model is coming as PDF (Portable Document Format). We can read those kinds of e books using a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Another model of e book is called e pubs. This is a enhanced model of e book. This is also supported to read in Apple iPad or Amazon Kindle.
The difference is e pub has links and very clear images which help to more readable. It helps to readers to use the book very easily than a physical book.

What is the difference between PDF eBook and ePub?
To simply define it, an eBook is an electronic book.
It is a kind of reading material that you don’t normally hold physically to read but digitally on a computer maybe, in a laptop, or most of the time in a device called eBook reader.
So generally, if you have a PDF eBook, it is still the normal eBook but only in the form of a PDF file.
In this case you need to have a program that opens PDF files like Adobe Reader. You can download it from Adobe.
On the other hand, EPUB is a short word for electronic publication. EPUB files have the extension name of “.epub”.
It is a free, open standard for eBooks by the International Digital Publishing Forum [IDPF].
