What is the difference between Mac eps in Windows eps?
EPS is a Post-script that conforms to Document Structuring Convention (DSC) standards. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Document_Structuring_Conventions. The Post-script in this case usually has some sort of restrictions that can be as a graphic file format. There is no one way to Identify EPS file because of the different ways the files are previewed. So the difference between a Windows EPS file and a Mac EPS Files is:
1. A windows preview must start with 4 bytes in hexadecimal format, C5 D0 D3 C6. The file format is available on all Microsoft windows platforms
2. The Mac preview should have a resource fork. This preview is usually a PICT resource with ID 256. The EPS should have an EPSF file type code.
