Analog signal is produced by the process of translating audio or video through electronic pulses. Digital signal is transferred by conversion of binary numbers. In comparison, digital signals have the capability of carrying limitless amount of data, while the amount of information analog signals can carry is limited.
Digital signal’s picture quality is superior, over analog but the sound quality of analog signals supersedes that of digital. The use of transfer through analog signal has been around for decades and is inexpensive. The use of digital signal is still relatively new but is becoming more prevalent and affordable by the day.

Analog communication uses human voices and translates it into electronic pulses, meanwhile the digital communication is breaking of signal into a binary language or format, where the audio or video data is represented by a series "1" and "0". So do the other form of communication like landline, cell phones and many others that comes in the process of converting.

Analog is the process of taking audio or video signal and translating it into electronic pulses. Digital is the process of breaking the signal into a binary format where the audio or video data is represented by a series of 1's and 0's. Digital has a better quality of sound, more secure, and has more features.

Digital communication system are relatively easy to design and can be fabricated on IC chips. But analog system are not. Digital system are information storage is easy but analog are not. Errors may be corrected by the use of coding. Privacy is preserved by using data encryption.

Hi there user:
Analogue is a comparable mechanism that varies infinitely by the range. While the digital communication varies indefinite, but when damages or error occurred, digital it can be repaired digitally, while the analogue can repaired manually or old person says classically, or the original.
I hope I have added additional information about your question about digital and analogue.

In digital communication, data (text, audio, image, video, etc.) is converted into binary digits, which consists of 0 and 1 only. The digits make up the digital data.
The digital data is then transferred by means of wired or wireless channels.
On the other hand, analog data is transmitted in continuous signals. Analog signals are usually transmitted by the use of modulation and is mainly used to transmit audio, image, video, etc.

Hi,
Difference between analog and digital communication?
Digital: A digital communication system transfers information from a digital source to the intended receiver.
Analog: An analog communication system transfers information from an analog source to the sink.
Differences:
1) Digital communication provide high security but analog communication are not..
2) Digital systems are relatively easy to design and can be fabricated on IC chips but in analog system cricket design is not easy.
3) Information storage is easy but in analog system information storage is not easy.
4) Digital communication is inexpensive but analog communication is expensive.
5) Data rate is very high but analog system data rate is low.
