I just previously learned how to use MS Frontpage and I’ve been receiving lots of time-out errors. It appears every time I try to publish my website. I also noticed that when I embedded forms and counters the time-out errors still appear. Could those bots be the cause of the time-out errors I’m experiencing?
What could be causing my frontpage time out error
There are many causes to the common time out errors in Frontpage so there are also different solutions. Broken links are caused by web pages that do not exist anymore. To fix this, go to File>Open Web>enter the address of the website or publish destination>Log In>Tools>Recalculate Hyperlinks. Click Yes to confirm the actions. Broken Web Bots also cause time out errors. This happens when forms, counters, and navigation bars fail to work. To fix this, also go to the File menu, then to Open Web. Enter the website address and Log In. There, you can edit the site. The third common cause may be ISP problems. ISP's may have detected your connection to be inactive, thus, causing it to have an error. You can browse for your own site during publication to render it active.
