What is the connection between vpn software for pc and mac logmein? I want to know how related vpn software in mac logmein system application? Is there some instances that they need each other to perform one whole task?

Hi Amanda,

Virtual Private Network is a more secure type of connection as compared to LogMeIn/LogMeInPro for Mac. LogMeIn’s counterpart for Windows PC is Ignition. VPN’s connection needs verification or authentication upon connecting whereas LogMeIn or Ignition allows you to connect remotely to your home pc using another device as long as the app is properly installed and setup on both devices. It just requires the other device to be on the net and the other device turned on.
