Hello Charles Marry,

First of all download a antivirus and scan your computer for unwanted programs or virus. If you want to recover your dmp file you can use a data recovery program like Recuva, FileRestorePlus, Smart Recovery 4.5 etc. All these are freeware. Install the program and follow the following steps:

1. Open the data recovery program.

2. Specify the hard disk location where you want to search for the files. You can also specify the file extension in your case specify the dmp extension. Program will scan for the files and show them in a list.

3. Select the files from the list that you want to retrieve.

Thanks for sharing your problem with us.

Hello,

It is not possible to recover lost .dmp files in all cases, but you may use CommServe Disaster recovery Tool to recover the lost .dmp files in some cases.

Apart from that a backup of files can be accessed or extracted from the system files by debugging may help to recover lost .dmp files. However taking an experts help in this process is recommended.
