I am looking for software that can compare two photos and can support most image format files such as jpg, img, png, gif and more. Where can I download it and what is the best software that you can recommend? Please include details of the software.

There are a couple of them you can use. WinMerge is one you can use. It can run as a sole program on your windows based computer system. It does not work with spreadsheet but can work DOS; UNIX; Mac and text files. You can download it using this link http://winmerge.org/downloads/index.php. It is free and the is not portable version available as at now. Another is KDiff3, https://sourceforge.net/projects/kdiff3/files/kdiff3/0.9.95/ which is almost same as the other and works on other operating systems like Mac OSX; UNIX and more.
