What is the basic difference between LCD and CRT Monitors?

Thanks for sharing.
CRT stands for Cathode Ray Tube. CRT monitors have this tube to show display.
In fact the CRT has phosphors coated inside.
In a CRT monitor, there are three electron guns which make a colorful display.
It produces radiation and ultraviolet rays which are much harmful to the human eyes.
CRT Monitors require 280 to 300 watts to work properly.
LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display.
It has a thin film paper inside to show the display.
It does not produce any radiation. It takes very low voltages.
This is much better than the CRT Monitors.
