Hello and good day TechyV!
I have heard about media log. Forums people say that it was useful but I don’t know what is it. I hope it has AMA Plug – in which could be used to mount AMA Volumes, log clips and pre bins which priors to edit. So guys, what is this Avid media log? Any comments would be useful. Thanks
What is Avid media log and what are the uses of this?
Hi William S Snell,
Thanks for asking the question. Avid MediaLog uses clips, bins and projects to organize the media work. It's a portable tool which can be installed on PCs and by using a Sony serial deck protocol they connect to source tape to record log. It is also possible to use manually to log the required media file.
You can have more information on their official site. From this document you can learn a lot about the Avid Media log.
In one sentence described in the Avids official support site for creating Avid File Exchange (AFE) on an Avid editing system so that it conforms with the Avid DS system.
Thanks & Regards,
