Good day to all of you!

While I am licensing my AutoCAD 2013, an error was pop – up. The error says “ Failed to obtain the IP address of the machine.  Please contact System Administrator for assistance. I have tried my best to make it work but none work.  What seems to be the problem? Is there a solution to make my Autodesk activation IP work? Thank you

Hello James D Costanza,

If you want to make it run then try to start it as "Run as Administrator" most of the times these types of errors are reduce by adapting that method in your software opening. But if you still got any problem then you have to go to your network options and after that you have to set the IP address of the system to the local host that you are using. You can also do that with a software for that you have to download network license manager. After that you have to administration tool and follow the image below.

It's not the program fault I think you have some issue with your network settings. I will tell you some methods to set your IP address. Please follow these steps:

Double click on your network connection on the lower right corner of the screen in windows XP it is like two blinking monitors. A new tab will be in front of you. Now click on properties and click on Internet protocol (TCP/IP) again click on properties and use the following IP address 192.168.1.1 and press tab button on the keyboard then click ok.

I think your problem is solved. If your problem remains then check the copy of the program you are using and make sure it is a valid copy of the program.
