Hi

The ASCII stands for the “American Standard Code for Information Interchange“.

The main purpose of this is to create inter connect ability between various devices. It was an encoding method. It was a standard 7 bit code.

ASCII comes from the word “Any-Key”. That means all the letters, numbers and the other symbols computer will identify with this ASCII code.

In the standers ASCII code has 128 decimal numbers. And the Extended ASCII code has 128 to 255 numbers that represent additional characters.

This ASCII system sued to transfer data through the electronic media for various purposes. There are lot of ASCII converters available today.

Hi,

ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange. It is a method that is used to represent text in computers by the use of digital codes or bits. Since computers cannot understand the human representation of text for instance in English words or any other language, there had to be a way that the text will be represented, and this was by the use digital codes which ASCII offers.

When you enter text into your computer, the text is first converted by the computer into ASCII codes, but the process is so fast that is done within nanoseconds and therefore you can even know that it is happening.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Lee Hung.
