Hi,

ARM stands for  Advance RISC Machine or Acorn RISC Machine. It is a reduced instruction set computer. ARM Platform is widely used in mobile Devices and comes with the 32 bit technology. One good example of ARM that runs linux distribution is the raspberry pi. Raspberry Pi is a credit card-size computer that runs Fedora Linux.

Hi Carey,

Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) is developed by British company ARM Holdings. It is a family of computer processors. It is one of the most widely used 32 bit instruction set.

This architecture is licensable. The license can also be obtained for designing our own different CPU cores.

Various CPU modes can be used in ARM architecture. It can be programmatically switched to a different mode

There are Linux distributions in ARM architecture. It includes Arch Linux and Canonical (Ubuntu on ARM).

Thanks!
