Well update runs where ever there are updates to install, so you can adjust when you need your dell laptop to check for updates. And in order to do that you need to go to the Dell support Center page on your laptop.

Select your region and country and then click the download now link. The program will be downloaded and the welcome setup wizard will appear. Click next and when the installation end click finish then accept. Now click on allow dell to collect information from my system, then click next to complete the setup, then the program will start.

Go to control panel in that you will find windows update.

Click on the windows update then go to change settings.

In that you will find important updates drop down box ,select download updates automatically.

And apply it the updates will download automatically and your system will be up to date.
