Hi,

There is a Find my Phone app that is now available on Play Store. You can either install the lite version or get the full version at around $1.++

If you happen to lose your phone, it works by simply texting “findme” to your number and it will be tracked via GPS and the location will be emailed to you. Users of this app had a lot of positive reviews putting a rating of 4.2 over 5.

Hope it helps.

If you are using Smartphones running on the Android mobile operating system and one of your devices got lost, there is still a chance of finding it using Android Device Manager. Android Device Manager will find the lost device’s estimated location on a map and when it was last used. The lost device will receive a notification once it is located.

But before you can use Android Device Manager to locate your lost device, the location access on your lost device should be on. To turn it on, on your device, go to Settings. Scroll down and tap Location. Tap Off at the top of the screen to switch it to On. Once it is turned on, you need to sign in your device to your Google account.

Android Device Manager will not work if the device is turned off or doesn’t have Wi-Fi connection or mobile data. If your lost device is already linked to Google, you can locate or ring it by finding “find my phone” on www.google.com. Another app called Find My Lost Phone will allow you to locate your lost device or stolen phone.

The app received all positive reviews from users who already downloaded and used it. Go to Find My Lost Phone on Google Play to download.
