Hii. About your concern, I would just like to share in using the websites on my end. There are websites that are very good with the contents and with the opening speed. Some websites opens very fast and some very slow though, but there are times it takes 2-3 seconds. I hope you know how websites work.

There is what we call bandwidth traffic. The more people accessing the website, the more time other users will access the website to fully open. Its like a measured tunnel getting to a coffeeshop, if people will rush all together to the shop, there will be a slow traffic before you get to the shop.

Another factor is your internet speed, the high MB speed you have, the faster you open and load websites. Take for an example, youtube.com , if you have a very slow internet speed, you will not be able to enjoy the videos, but if you have 2MBPS-5MBPS megabytes per second speed. You can enjoy it and will not complain. Check those factors and you will understand why.

The lag you experience sometimes on websites is due to the number of users visiting and accessing the site. The number of users who visit the site is called “traffic”, the term used by website owners. The bigger the traffic, the better it is for the website because it means money. The majority of websites earn money through ads and this is where the traffic applies.

Web servers are fast and they can handle hundreds of thousands of users per website. If you experience lag on a particular website, you can try visiting again at a later time. The lag is sometimes caused by your internet connection and this is expected on wireless internet like 3G and 4G LTE. Me, I use 4G LTE and I experience lag in my connection very frequently.

If internet connection is slow and you are using a Wi-Fi router, try restarting your router. If the router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about ten to twenty seconds (10 – 20). Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle.

After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on.
