Hi there, after its latest release of antivirus recently, I am not getting any updates from the webroot. Is there anyone who can help me with this problem please? Please tell me why it is happening and a solution to this problem. In addition, suggest a better antivirus for my All-in-one PC running Windows 8.

Hi,
According to web root this is because of the SQL server 2000 database that’s running on service pack 3.
We can simply upgrade to SQL server service pack 4 to fix this issue.

The article above gives instructions on checking your SQL server version.
We can also try going to the updates folder for web root (\Program Files\Webroot\Enterprise\Server\Updates folder), select all files except SpySweeper CFG File, 0058E511, 0058E512, 0058E513, 002B005D and 002B005E and press delete. Then go to \Program Files\Webroot\Enterprise\Server\WebServer\webapps\updates, delete everything except the Place holder file, the web apps/updates folder and the Server/updates folder. Restart the Webroot services and run a check for update again.
