We have a Microsoft Exchange email account for our college. We recently received a mail from a company about their placement interest, but along with the spams, we deleted their message. So, we are in dire need of mailbox exchange recovery. How do we do it?

Don’t fret people for the Microsoft Exchange Account is a blessing for you and your college.  If you delete a mailbox, you are disconnecting it for 30 days known as the mailbox retention period. During that 30 days period, you can recreate a user object and reconnect the deleted mailbox. Follow these simple steps:

  1. In Exchange System Manager, find the deleted mailbox in the mailbox store and click the mailboxes.
  2. Scroll to “Reconnect”by right-clicking the disconnected mailbox, the appropriate user from the appearing dialog box is selected. Click OK.

There you have your deleted mailbox recovered. Be cautious people. If you want to alter the retention period, go through the properties and limit sections. This way, mailboxes can be retained for days after deletion.
