I need to extend volume in Windows 7 to allocate different spaces for various folder types. I don’t know where to start or to end. Can anyone come to my aid?
Ways To Extend Volume In Windows 7 With Ease.
You can try Diskpart.exe to manage partitions, disks and volume in Windows Server 2003 using the command-line interface.
- Open command prompt and type diskpart.exe and Enter list volume which displays existing volume.
- Enter Select Volume number where it represents the volume to be extended.
- Then, type extend [size=a][disk=a][noerr]. Write the value of “a” according to the requirement.
- Type exit.
You can also use EaseUS partition tool or built-in Disk Management.
