Hi Shannon Wheelock, here are the steps on how to create a random disk I.D., First, “disconnect” all plug – ins then “reboot” and “re – install” it again. If it failed, try again. Also, if the setup is unsuccessful to the partition, just close the set – up tab. Second, go to “initial setup screen”. Third, click “repair,” and go to advance tools and command line. Fourth, go to “disk part”. Put “list disk”, identify your “SSD disk #”. Fifth, key in choose disk (n) where (n) is the SSD number. Sixth, key in “clean”. Seventh, key in “do partition primary”. Key in “active”. Format fs=ntfs quick. Eighth, key in “assign”. Last, type exit twice.
