Hi, I want to start creating an employee attendance table structure that can generate a weekly and monthly attendance report. It would be great if experts out there would give me some points or recommendations on how I could organize tables in excel preferably with formula on calculating the total hours work per week and per month. Will wait for your replies, thanks.

Hi Alfred Martinez,

The column A would be the name of the employee. Column B onwards would be the days of the month.

Every end of the week you need to have week total that computes the total days that the employee is present. If you want total the days on a certain employee just drag cell from Monday up to the week total column. After dragging, click on formulas, then auto sum button. It will enable you to compute the weekly total days that the certain employee was present. After week 1 total put again the week days followed by week #2 column until you reach 1 month. If you want to get the monthly total, just add the week 1 +week 2+ week 3+week4 + column and that will be the monthly income.

Hi,

It will be pretty good if you start to maintain employee attendance. You can use the following format for that:

1. Serial.

2. Name.

3. Date. Date is 1-30, according to the days of the month. It will contain the attendance.

4. Total attendance.

5.  Total Absent

6. Total working days.

I think you will prefer it.
