Hey Charles!

I am going to tell you two methods to solve this problem.

You have to follow the instructions, given below:

Method 1:

1. Open Small Business Server 2003-based server

2. Click on TO DO LIST in the left side in Server Management area.

3. Now click Next > Enable Remote Access > Check VPN Access > Next.

4. Type FQDN of server press the next button and after it finish it.

5. Once the wizard is complete, click the close button.

Method 2:

1. Open ISA Management.

2. When it opens, click on Access Policy.

3. Select the properties by pressing right click on IP-Packet Filter.

4. A new window will open, Check the Enable IP Routing in the General Tab.

5. Check the "PPTP through ISA Firewall" in PPTP tab.

You are done. The problem is resolved.

Thanks

When you receive that error on your virtual private network it means you cannot connect to the VPN server or your computer can’t establish a connection to the VPN server. First, check if you have an active internet connection. You will not be able to connect to your VPN service if you don’t have an internet connection.

You need to have internet access. Open your web browser then browse some websites. If you can’t access a single website then that’s the problem. If you are using a cabled internet, check the network cable at the back of your CPU. Disconnect the cable from the port then connect it back.

Check your web browser again if you can connect to a website. If the problem continues, contact your Internet Service Provider. Until your internet problem is fixed, you will not be able to connect to your VPN service. In case there is no problem with your internet connection but you are not able to connect to your VPN service, I guess you need to check your VPN account.

Go to your VPN service website then check if your account is still valid. If your account was suspended maybe due to unpaid subscriptions, pay the bills to restore your account.
